Licentiate in Environmental Sciences, University of Buenos Aires, on going

Research focus:

I am working on the Hypogeococcus sp. “Harrisia Cactus Mealybug” project, in which I take care of the breeding and maintenance of the mealybugs, as well as of the two candidate species for their biological control: Anagyrus cachamai and A. lapachosus. I also carry out the cultivation and maintenance of the host cacti of this invasive species.

I am currently earning my degree in Environmental Sciences (Faculty of Agronomy, UBA). My thesis deals with aquatic insects as bioindicators of water quality in an urban protected area. In this same area, I work as a volunteer and I have also collaborated with surveys of Lepidoptera. At the same time, I work as a second assistant in the FAUBA Chair in Agricultural Zoology.
